Fahrrad XXL is a German-based bicycle retailer, which currently consists of 15 giant local stores across the country integrated with national online shops. It allows to offer to its customers the widest range of products available on the market. With more than 800 employees in 10 different companies, Fahrrad XXL has grown heavily the last couple of years. To handle their document flow, they were looking for a modern document management system that can be integrated with Microsoft Dynamics 365. Therefore, Fahrrad XXL chose 9altitudes’ solution Raptor.
“Raptor was able to provide a solution for any functionality we were looking for”, says Andreas Rose, Project manager at Fahrrad XXL.
The search for a new DMS system started when their former one stopped working as expected. Fahrrad XXL encountered integration problems between their former DMS and their ERP system Microsoft Dynamics 365: “The interface didn’t live up to our expectations”, Andreas explains. “An external employee who was working for us at the time, recommended Raptor. He told us about his positive experience with the system, and that we should consider it, when searching for a new one”.
So Fahrrad XXL set up a pitch and Raptor came out as the best and most trustworthy solution. “We had a good feeling about the platform and that feeling was correct. The project launched in time, without any issues”.
“A big advantage of using DMS system is automation and digitalization. With Raptor there is an extra benefit that it integrates with our ERP system”, Andreas clarifies. Even in lockdown mode, Raptor made sure Fahrrad XXL‘s wheels kept turning. “We had a lot of issues during the first Coronavirus lockdown, but since we switched to Raptor, our employees were able to keep working from home same way as they did in the office”.
